Headway Birmingham & Solihull is looking to recruit Lifestyle Support Workers to join our team for work across the county. We are looking for Support Workers who are positive, committed and passionate about changing the lives of people with a brain injury. We love the individuality and the unique perspective that every single colleague brings to Headway.

Location: Birmingham & Solihull - may be specific areas

Salary per hour: £9.01 (Rising to £10 in April 2021 for experienced/qualified)
Job - Permanent: Various hours 18 per week.

Split between 2hrs each Mon, Wed & Fri evening (5-7pm) & 6hrs on a Saturday (12-6pm)

Your role may be supporting our client to attend appointments, social activities, shopping in the community or with day to day living skills in their homes.  Some personal care may be required.


Applicants must preferably be a car driver / owner and have experience of working with disabilities.  have, or be willing to gain a Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, or better still, brain injury experience.


We offer competitive salary, extensive induction, training and ongoing mentoring and support to our workers.


We will require an enhanced DBS disclosure, expense of which will be met by employer.
