LIFESTYLE  SUPPORT WORKERS - MALE  WORKERS REQUIRED

Salary per hour: £7.85 Depending on age
Hours: 17.5hrs per week

Headway Birmingham & Solihull is looking to recruit an exceptional person to enable brain injured clients to improve their independence at home and in the community leading to an improved quality of life. You will need to be a positive, caring, and motivated individual and have the drive to make a real difference to peoples’ lives.

You will need to be a motivated person to work flexible hours.  You will need to be a positive and caring individual and have the drive to make a real difference to people’s lives, being able to use initiative and having a good sense of humour.

 

The successful applicant will be committed and flexible to suit our client’s requirements 17(attending day centres, building up hobbies and activities etc). Training will be provided but an understanding of Brain Injury as well as experience in similar roles / NVQ2 (or equivalent) Health and Social Care is desirable.

 

No personal care is required, but assistance with day to day living tasks and support in the community and at activities will be expected.

 

The successful candidate will be required to complete a 4 day induction and gain the Care Certificate (provided by Headway).  They will also provide an enhanced DBS disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by employer.
