A brain injury can happen to anyone, anywhere, and at any time. It happens suddenly and the road to recovery is often a long, lonely, and stressful journey. An acquired brain injury can have an impact on the whole of the family – partners, parents, children and others. Everyone involved has to learn to adjust to the unexpected life changes and demands.
Headway WM strives to ease the way forward, and help to improve the quality of life for the brain injured person, carers, and others directly affected.
