VACANCY: COMMUNITY OUTREACH ADMINISTRATOR
Location: Leighton House, Birmingham Great Park, Rubery
Salary per hour: £11.78ph per hour
Job - Permanent: 15hrs per week, Mon - Fri - 1pm-4pm.

Our organisation, which has been established for over 30 years offers a variety of support services for people across Birmingham & Solihull with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and their families/carers.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, friendly, positive, caring and self-motivated Community Outreach Administrator who has the drive, personality and reliability to make a real difference to the daily running of our Community Outreach Service. Your role will involve the data entry and monitoring of administrative systems and processes.
Our pay scale starts at the National Living Wage of £11.78ph, includes six levels of pay up to £12.21ph (for qualified and experienced Community Outreach Workers) and we have hours to suit your lifestyle.

A good communicator at all levels with an open and friendly manner who is able to generate the confidence and respect of clients and carers and who also possesses a good sense of humour.

The use and care of PCs, data entry onto TAGtronics system,

Confidence in dealing with incoming/outgoing telephone calls professionally; handling, diverting and taking messages as appropriate. The ability to make outgoing calls on behalf of the Community Outreach Manager as required.

A flexible working approach with the understanding that this role is varied with no two days being the same

Taking responsibility for all the office administration management, maintenance and improvement of administrative systems, documents and monitoring alongside the ABI Services Administrator.

Use initiative and take responsibility for office administration tasks and improvement of administration systems, documents and monitoring etc working alongside the ABI Services Administrator.

Produce Welcome Packs for all new clients

Produce Support Worker packs for all new starters.

Assist the Office Team with typing up letters and reports.

Monitor the Support Workers visits using TAGtronics database system and chase Support Workers who have not logged their visits onto the system.

General administrative duties to meet the needs of the business as required.

Attend team meetings and feedback regularly to Manager regarding materials, resources, issues, suggestions etc.

Assist with special events, publicity and other work that may be important to the service

Uphold all Terms and Conditions of the post including covering in emergency situations as required and upholding all other policies such as Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, etc.

Participation with wider activities of the Headway Birmingham & Solihull Team, through contributing to volunteering on at least one outside of hours event and assisting at one compulsory special fundraising event

Education to CGSE/O-Levels with a good standard of English, Maths, IT and Business Administration qualification.
Previous experience of working with people with disabilities in health and social care with a knowledge of brain injury is desirable.
The successful candidate will require an enhanced DBS, the cost of which will be met by the employer.
